Long ago, the dark mage Theodric the Twisted was sealed within his magical maze after his defeat. Now, centuries later, the maze has burst open, unleashing monsters upon the village of Oxfield. With the local lord’s forces three days away, knaves and adventurers rush to explore the maze, seeking its treasures before it is sealed again.

Will you brave its deadly traps, battle fearsome monsters, and claim your fortune? Or will you be lost in the twisting halls of Theodric’s creation?

The Lost Maze of the Mad Mage is a procedurally generated dungeon for the Knave 2e RPG, featuring:

• A ready-to-run dungeon that can be integrated into an existing Knave 2e campaign.
• Eleven magical items and three unique books to enhance your game.
• Three factions and a rival group of knaves for your players to fight or ally with.

Will your party succeed in seizing the treasures hidden within The Lost Maze of the Mad Mage, or will you be trapped forever when the maze is resealed in three days?

This adventure was originally created for the Knave 2e Adventure Game Jam (2024). I hope you enjoy this dungeon—it’s the first one I’ve ever designed and published for the public to view and use. I will likely return to add more content and flesh it out further. The jam's constraints limited what I wanted to do, but this version of the module will always be available and free to download.
